an early glass of champagne

 Since I worked 12.5 hours today and have another 12.5 hours to work tomorrow I am celebrating the New Year a wee bit early.  It’s midnight somewhere, right?  🙂

I can’t believe that 2009 is almost here.  Where has the year gone?  How quickly time flies.  I can’t believe I am coming up on my 3rd year living here in Virginia and my 6th anniversary with Matt!  And let us not forget that I am turning 27 quite soon.  Hot damn.

2008 has had its ups and downs, I think more ups than downs though.  I have somewhat disappeared the latter part of the year, hopefully I can settle myself down into writing(and noting) more.  I’d love to do a year review but I am pretty shot after the long day today.

Anywho I mostly wanted to wish all of you a very safe and Happy New Year!  Hoping your plans are more exciting than mine, I’m sure I will be in bed with Widget sleeping away when 2009 makes its appearance.
