almost better.

Happy to report that my toe is almost back to normal!  I neglected to take pictures because I figure it would have just grossed everyone out and blisters really aren’t all that interesting anyway.  I think the only cool part would have been how effing swollen my toe was from the infection.  Still have remnants of a blister but it’s going away.  I should go medicate it right now but eh, whatever.  I know I’m just asking for it to come back now…

I am also happy to say that Widget’s doing very well too.  He’s still gimpy but he’s pulling his leg in normally and he’s only limping a bit, even after a hard night of running around the apartment.  I felt bad confining him to the kitchen anymore and I figure he’s going to run around in there as much as he is out here so I just let him out.  Now all Matt and I worry about is him jumping even though he seems to stay off of his bum leg when he does.  I expect a full recovery!  He’s going back to the vet on Tuesday for more x-rays and what not although I’m not sure why, kid is fine.

Speaking of Tuesday somebody is going to be turning 25!  I can’t believe I’m actually going to get to spend Matt’s birthday with him, this’ll be the first time that’s ever happened since we’ve been together.  Now I just have to scam to get us together on Christmas and New Year’s and we will be set.  I ordered him a present I think he’s going to really like but the freaking company still hasn’t shipped it yet.  The money went through my bank account and dammit I want some results.  I think I’m going to shoot out an e-mail asking WTF since now I will be empty-handed come Tuesday.  I know Matt doesn’t mind but still…makes me feel like le poo!  Not really sure what he wants to do that day, we haven’t made any plans really other than going to a celebration thing that Micron is throwing for employees.  It’ll be nice to see what some people look like without their suits on.  🙂  That sounds so wrong.

Matt told me that Matt from NY will be here in VA next month to work on the install that my Matt got taken off of.  I’m looking forward to seeing that kid again!  Yay!

I’ve been tumbling ideas around in my head to get my younger siblings out here for a weekend or so but I’m not sure how to swing that.  I don’t think I can afford to buy them both plane tickets but at the same time what is pinching pennies for a little while?  I will have to think about it a little bit more I guess.  Boo on living so far away from home.

Been such a bum today.   Le sigh.  I think I’m going to go clean the bathroom and act like I did something other than just sit around all night.  Okay, I took the trash out earlier.  I’ll be more productive tomorrow.  Today, whatever.  Okay kids, I’m out of here.  Have a good Monday!  Later taters!
