It has been a nice day today.  The weather here in Northern Virginia was quite lovely in the upper 60’s/low 70’s.  Opened up the windows to let some fresh air into the house.  Unpacked a few more things and watched some football.  Totally bummed that the Broncos lost to the Deadskins today!  UGH.  But at least my Cardinals won, beating the Seahawks in Arizona.  Right now I’ve got the Colts/Pats game on hoping for a Colts win.  SORRY but I hate Tom Brady.  🙂

I’ve got a lovely headache going on right now, not sure why.  Bleck.  Maybe it’s just this time of year with the seasons changing…  Who knows.

Matt and I did a little grocery shopping at Wegman’s today, we also got a late lunch/early dinner at the seafood bar they have there.  They had Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA on draft for $2.50 so of course we could not pass that up.  Food was really good, too.  Wegman’s has got it all, kids.  My favorite grocery store.  Ever.

A little while ago I got up and pulled Matt into the bedroom with me for some making out and then finishing him off with a blow job.  😉  I don’t do that stuff enough for him…  He never asks(says he prefers sex) but I know it feels good to have your partner adore you and not expect anything in return.  I mean, of course I hope that we can get it on later tonight but if we don’t then it can just wait until tomorrow. 🙂

Last night Ida gave me a call to let me know she was feeling better and was okay.  Ida was the one that got really sick at work, by the way.  I guess Flavius found her upstairs laying down on the bench in the fab gowning room from her back pain(she hurt her back playing golf, strained or pulled a muscle or something) and he insisted he call ERT for her.  So they take her downstairs via elevator where the pain intensifies.  I was upstairs with Gabe when we get a phone call at our desks from Indu telling us that Ida was downstairs with ERT.  Gabe heads down and I page Jim to let him know what was going on.   He and I head downstairs and tear off our suits and run out the doors.  Ida was laying there on the floor with the ERT guys and she’s got O2 going and they are taking her stats, saying her blood sugar was high.  Ida is also diabetic, she is of the kind that she needs insulin and wears a pump on her at all times.  So it being high wasn’t as bad as it being low but still, any kind of blood sugar issue is not good for her.  They would not let her having any food or water so it was all just downhill from there.  I texted Moni to see if she was up(she’d just gotten off nights) and then realized she was probably asleep so I called Rachna in a panic asking if she could head to the ER to meet Ida there.  After Rachna said she’d go the ambulance guys were getting ready to move Ida from the wheelchair we’d put her in onto the gurney when she crumpled to the floor again and started throwing up. 🙁  Poor little thing.  My heart was seriously aching to watch her in so much pain and then to be so sick.  They took her off and then I stayed downstairs to drink a cup of coffee that a co-worker had brought from Starbucks and chill out since my adrenaline had kicked on and I was all kinds of strung out.  The day stayed quiet after that, thank goodness!

Wow it is almost 10!  I need to get a move on and get myself ready for bed since we have to get up early tomorrow to help Brodie and Roxanne move into their townhouse. 🙂  Later taters, hope all of you had a nice weekend!
