 Kitchen cabinets were installed today.  They look great.  Still no kitchen sink until next week though.  🙁  At least the kitchen stuff has been unpacked.  I wish I knew where my camera was.

OT was long today, was stuck down in CMP where I am SO out of my element.  I don’t like to feel like I don’t know what is going on.  In Wets I am your girl.  If I can’t fix a problem for you I’ll find someone who can.  I am confident in my process knowledge there – CMP, not so much.  I know I’d rock it at CMP if I just gave it the chance but I hate feeling like the new kid.  I hate not KNOWING.  Luckily the tech/eng team in CMP on front end is very nice and forgiving of my stupidity when it comes to that area.  I am willing to learn but I am a repetitive learner.  You have to show me something a few times until I truly understand it.  Tom used to get so frustrated with me because I needed that, lol.  But once I have that knowledge and I am confident in my abilities I will run and go far with it.

This house is shaping up so nicely.  I was having major anxiety issues before we moved out of the apartment, I’m sure you remember.  I still miss our little place and the comfort I felt there.  But I am slowly warming up to this place.  I love that Widget and I can play the chase game and run around and I don’t have to worry about my neighbors under me wondering who let a heard of elephants go upstairs.  I love that we can have the TV and/or music up loud and it won’t bother anyone that is sharing a wall with us.  I love that it’s so DARK here.  I’d forgotten how I missed being able to see stars.  We’re making this place a home.  I can’t wait to have friends over to share the warmth and happiness.  You’re invited to come over whenever you like, by the way.  We do have a spare room for you.  🙂

It’s half-time for MNF and they are having the players say thank you to our Veterans.  These kinds of things make me cry.  Seriously.

It’s 10:00 PM already.  Sheesh.

Off tomorrow.  Not sure what we’re going to do.  I know that  laundry is on the agenda, probably more shopping for household items that we need to fill this place up.  Now I think you see my need for working OT.  😉  Oh well, it’s better to work for these things than to not.
