We are only 5 days into November and I am already having a hard time with this. I think it is because by the time I get home from work at night I am dead tired and just want to go to bed.
Hahahaha Widget just snuck outside when Matt was putting the trash outside so Matt went to grab the kitty. I hear a knock on the living room window and I look up and he’s got both of their faces pressed up against the glass. So silly. 🙂
Speaking of Matt – I really do love working at the same site that he does. While we do work in the same building(the fab) he works over in Photo and I am down quite a ways in Wets. Anyway, we see each other randomly throughout the day sometimes and today I bumped into Matt while I was walking back up into the lobby. We were outside of the building still so he grabbed me around my waist and we had a quick kiss and a few seconds of conversation. I really love and appreciate that we can see each other and do things like that. I guess I was thinking about it a lot today because a Favorite of mine is having to deal with she and her hubby being on completely opposite schedules and never seeing each other. I totally know how that goes and I really feel for her in this situation. 🙁
I can’t wait until my new contact lenses get here. I actually had to reorder them through the people I ordered my last batch through because Hour Eyes somehow lost my prescription. *sigh* I’ve got a hard copy of it around here somewhere, it’s packed up… So I ordered 1 box to tide me over until I find my paper. I’m just glad my eyes won’t burn whenever I put my contacts in anymore, haha.
Alright I’m going to go get ready for bed, I am fighting off a 2 day headache and hopefully continue to avoid getting the flu like everyone else at work has been coming down with. Ick. Later taters, sorry I’ve not been very good at noting lately even though I have been reading. Love you all. 🙂
At least you’re still writing! You’re doing good! Hope that headache of yours goes away. I got sick (I’m not sure if it’s the flu…) and I figured for sure I’d avoid it. So stay healthy! It’s so nice that you get to see Matt throughout the day. I remember not too long ago you didn’t get that luxury either. On a side note, I had no idea he worked at the same place as you.

“I hear a knock on the living room window and I look up and he’s got both of their faces pressed up against the glass. So silly. :)” — Reminds me of something Jer would do. Oh man oh man, I wish we lived closer. I so think we’d all get along so well!

Thanks for feeling for me on the opposite schedules. We did it before when I started at Cardinal and he was at Time Warner waaaay back in the day. 2006 or 2007 I think it was. Anyhow… I hated it. I still hate it. It’s a necessary evil to get to the end result. I know that. So long as he does spend some time with me this weekend, I think that’ll set the tone on how well we handle it. If he is attentive to my, ahem, needs, all of them, then I’ll be satisfied and know I can do this. 😉 And yes… you’re one lucky gal to get to see him so randomly throughout the day. That’d be nice. When we worked together, I hated it because I saw him ALL the time. We worked the same job, same area, etc. I hated that. But seeing him throughout the day randomly would be so nice!

Artboy and I are on different schedules this week too. I saw him driving in the drive way this morning on my way to work…and missed him this evening when he went to work. Two ships passing…

I liked when Eric and I worked at the same place. We worked far enough away from each other that on most days we didn’t even see each other. But, there were days when we’d either go to lunch together or he’d stop up to visit me. Those were the days… *sigh*
