I just don’t understand how a 3 day weekend can go by SO quickly but a 3 day work week? Yeah, takes ages. I go back for 4 days starting tomorrow, long weeks = the suck. On the bright side I have 4 days off coming up. 🙂 My boss is off this week so that leaves me to run things… I hate being in charge. Well, I hate going to meetings. If I could just hide in the fab all day long I’d be okay.

Went to the DMV today to do the whole address change thing, actually went by fairly painlessly. Should be getting my new (stoic) license in about a week or so. Woo hoo.

The new bed SHOULD be delivered tomorrow. Dave was nice enough to agree to come hang out here for a few hours to take the delivery for us even though it will be in the middle of his "night". He’s going back to night shift starting tomorrow night so normally he’d be sleeping during the day. But he’s welcome to nap either on our couch or take up the bed if he likes anyway. 🙂 I can’t get away from work due to Gabe being on vacation and Matt never knows what his work day is going to look like because machines can be unpredictable. He’s had weeks go by he doesn’t set foot in the fab and then other weeks where he is in there as much as I am.

The whole falling back thing for Daylight Savings Time is really screwing with me this time around. Matt was just saying how it felt like it was almost 9PM(it is almost 8 right now) and technically it would be if we hadn’t just fallen back. Bleh. Maybe I’ll get to bed at a decent hour tonight because I am feeling like it is getting on toward bedtime.

I’m currently pondering running downstairs to find some bubble bath and giving the tub a good breaking in. I really wish we had the room for a garden tub like the one we had at the apartment – it was lovely. Maybe someday we can put something down in the basement, make it a little luxury suite down there. I’m just glad we’re in the house for now though!

Been pondering furniture and what we like and don’t like. Haven’t come to any solid conclusions. Doubt we ever will, haha.

I’ve also been pondering how many people grew some balls and asked someone out this weekend because of this PostSecret:

I like to think that the actual person that made this secret actually got the guy(or girl) of their dreams. So sweet. 🙂 On that note – have any of you ever sent in a PostSecret and saw it in either a book or on the Sunday Secrets? I think about doing it often but I’ve never quite come up with something creative to go along WITH my secret.

Well I think I’m going to go change into my PJ’s and read some Harry Potter before I decide to drift off to dreamland. Actually, I want to knock boots with my boyfriend before I drift off to dreamland – should not have an issue there. 🙂 Later taters.

Mmmm Garden Tubs are heaven. You just reminded me I HAVE to have at least 1 bathroom big enough for one when we get our own house! I’ve never posted to Post Secret. I don’t have anything I deem worthy enough.

I too often think about writing my own PostSecret but don’t think I have any secrets worth writing. It would probably read something like, “I always wanted to write a post secret but I didn’t have any deep, dark secrets.”

i find garden tubs to be a waste of side space, what i really want is just a deep tub. they have one at Lowe’s that I NEEEEEEEED. it’s a claw foot soaking tub, NEEEED. except it’s $5k so i guess i don’t need.

the DST is messing up my sleep too…but more of the lines i am not tired at night and get up before my alarm goes off… WTF! you guys should go wander through IKEA, you’d get a crap ton of ideas even if you didnt get anything there. i’m already wanting to go back haha love you!

I made several in the early years of college, never sent a single one in. I always chickened out, because they were always about boys and I was paranoid that someone would know it was me! I knowingly kept them for years, and just threw them away last May when I graduated. 🙂

One asked out a manager at Walgreens when I worked there, and another told a married male friend that I had a fling with that I was in love with him. I always just decided it was better to keep that stuff to myself. Just in case.

Ah, boot knocking. Haven’t done that in a while… of course, that happens when your husband works second shift and sleeps 5 out of 7 nights in a different state. *sigh*

RYN: that’s exactly what it is. I feel like I could be SO much more for our call center… And I’m just not given the chance. But you’re right… In the end, they’ll loose out, not me.

RYN: Thanks hun. I know the 3rd shift schedule will be better than the 2nd shift one. So I guess it’s positive because it’ll make me appreciate that one. I sure hope the group expands quickly and adds new positions so he can get a better schedule though! xoxox

I always think about making/writing up PostSecrets but haven’t done any yet. I just went to a PostSecret show though! It was really intriguing and inspiring. Ashley
