Maybe you don’t need to capture it– maybe the butterfly will be the one to come to you.

I have both. We sent over 50 texts to one another and then decided we’d better choose a less expensive way of communicating (international charges!). I really want to write him an e-mail, but I am actually scared to. I don’t know what to say to him because I don’t know what we are and I am terrified of becoming attached to someone I may never see again. I know that I eventually will write him… Ijust have to figure out what I’m suppossed to say. It’s hard to handle matters of the heart with your head.

So lovely.

This is gorgeous.

This my first OD, though when I was younger I used to belong to TOD. I’d been missing the writing atmosphere recently, and decided to come back. TOD’s dead, apparently, so I came to OD. Teehee… sorry for tearing up your logic! If it’s any consolation, I didn’t prove you wrong; I just offered an alternative. 🙂 Thank you for the welcome!

Hmm.

you asked me one day how long it takes me to write an entry. usually it takes only a few minutes , the words come pouring from within. tonight it took a long time, i wonder if it is the drugs they’ve put me on. I’m having a hard time forming logical flowing of words. I can’t quite describe what I’m tryign to say.

When a butterfly is left unpursued, it lands in a safe spot. For the butterfly to be happy, it has to remain uncaptured because no one wants to lose their freedom, butterflies especially. Chasing butterflies is all in vain. You must tempt the butterfly to stay with things that it likes. Flowers, buds of personality.

Butterflies don’t fly at night. They really don’t.

You remind me of Rumi (I don’t care if everyone ELSE discovered him this decade). Wonderful images as ever.

maybe you’d just hold her, crush her wings and move on… maybe you’d be cruel. who knows? even time doesnt!
