Why do psychos get to be moms too?

Am I crazy or does just any psychotic ass bitch get to have kids? Have you heard about the trial going on in East Texas? Her name is Deanne Laney and the fucking whore says that God told her to stone her babies. What God was that, I’m just curious? Somehow I thought that God was the good guy telling you that children are precious and innocent and that killing is wrong. I didn’t know he was some freaky ass bastard that comes through a wall of fire and tells you that it is okay to smash a child’s head with a 20-pound rock. Oh and he told her that she and that other psycho ass bitch from Houston, Andrea Yates, will be the only ones left to preach the word of God when rapture comes. So is she saying that to be one of God’s helpers, we need to all go out and bash our kids skulls in? My Lord, she must be the Profit we have all been looking for. Stupid fucking whore. I sometimes wish that there was something stronger than capital punishment.

This is just something I pulled off the web about it. Y’all take care, I have to go blow my nose now.

Mandy.

TYLER, Texas — Aaron Laney was first, a toddler in Thomas-the-Tank Engine pajamas who wailed when his mother lifted him from his crib and bashed his skull with a four-pound, wedge of rock.

Six-year-old Luke went next, willingly following Deanna “Dee” Laney into the family’s rock garden and lying down there in his Scooby Doo pajamas “to do what his Mommy told him.”

Eight-year-old Joshua asked “Where are we going, Mom?” as Mrs. Laney led him into the night, and he struggled so after the first rock blows that the 39-year-old housewife had to pin his arms with her knees to finish what she later said was God’s will.

The attacks were recounted in horrific detail Monday as Mrs. Laney went on trial for the murder of her two oldest boys and the serious injury of Aaron, now 2. Mrs. Laney winced and sobbed, her husband Keith often buried his head, and even veteran police officers broke down and cried as they told stunned jurors about the carnage at the Laney’s rural home last Mother’s Day weekend.

Defense attorney F.R. “Buck” Files Jr. characterized the crime as a psychotic act by a deeply religious East Texas woman overcome by delusions. Mrs. Laney believed God’s voice was telling her to kill her children the night she bludgeoned her three sons with rocks, her attorney said Monday during opening statements of her capital murder trial.

“Does she follow what she believes to be God’s will or does she turn her back on her God,” Files asked the jury of eight men and four women

Deanna Laney, charged with two counts of capital murder and one count of serious injury to a child, cried uncontrollably as she listened to testimony, at times burying her face in a tissue.

Her lawyers will try to prove she is innocent by reason of insanity. Prosecutors will try to prove that Laney knew right from wrong and is guilty. Prosecutors are not seeking the death penalty.

Psychiatric experts for both the defense and the prosecution agree that Deanna Laney was legally insane during the killings Mother’s Day weekend, but Smith County District Attorney Matt Bingham wants a jury to decide.

“The issue of sanity is tried in the court, not the hospitals,” Bingham said.

Although Laney has acknowledged killing her sons, “That awareness should not be construed as any rational understanding of the wrongfulness,” Files said.

“It was insanity that caused her to do what she did to those children,” Files said.

Laney, 39, who homeschooled her children in the tiny town of New Chapel Hill, 100 miles southeast of Dallas, called 911 just after midnight May 10 and told a dispatcher God ordered her to kill her boys.

Prosecutors Monday detailed how 8-year-old Joshua and 6-year-old Luke were killed and Aaron, a 14-month-old at the time, was injured.

Prosecutors said that Laney first attacked Aaron, striking him with a rock she had hidden under his crib. When he began crying, Laney’s husband, Keith, woke up and saw her in the baby’s room. With her back to him, he thought she was changing the baby’s diaper. She told him, “Everything’s OK.”

After her husband went back to bed, Laney struck the boy again with a 4 1/2-pound rock, putting a a pillow over his head after hearing a gurgling sound from the blood in Aaron’s throat and head, prosecutors said.

“Aaron Laney will never be the same,” said Bingham, adding that the boy’s vision has been impaired and he will never live independently.

“The evidence will show you that the last thing Josh and Luke Laney ever saw was their mom with a rock over their heads,” Bingham said. “And the last thing they ever felt was that rock crashing over their head.”

After dragging the two boys’ bodies to a dark corner of the front yard, she called a police dispatcher, saying, “I just killed my boys.”

As the 911 tape played in court, Laney could be heard calmly telling the dispatcher that God made her kill her children. She then described her house and car, directing authorities to her home.

At one point she says, “I don’t think I did right by Aaron.”

Deputies found Joshua and Luke lying in the front yard in their underwear, skulls smashed and stones the size of dinner plates atop their bodies. Aaron was found alive in his crib, bleeding from a broken skull, a pillow over his face. He is recovering.

Files told the jury that Laney had a history of psychotic episodes.

He said that just before the killings, Laney had delusions of a child playing with a spear and throwing a rock and that led her to kill the children with a rock.

Laney is not expected to testify, but her husband and his brother, mother and sister are among probable witnesses.

wow. I have a 5 month old and it makes you really re-evaluate the people that you leave your kids with because of women like this. I hug McKenzie everyday and am thankful for her but I cant imagine ever wanting to hurt her.

You know…you need a license and or application to drive, get married, buy a house or car, get a job, get a pet, go to school/college, but to have a kid there is no screening!!! It is people like this that make me think everyone should “apply” to be able to concieve!

You should need a liscense to become a parent. That made me sick.

*shakes head* What a sick, sad world we live in.

I think I’m going to go be sick.

And as a second thought… the only comfort that comes from this story is that now those boys ARE with God, and away from that horror of a mother.

god, thats so awful! tell me how a psycho like that gets to have kids, but i couldn’t have my baby?

If it were up to me Id bash her head in…

MY GOD, the whole time I was reading this I just had my mouth covered in pure shock and sadness for these small children, and the life they will never live.

Life can be crap….but it really sounds like post partum pshycosis (sorry I can’t spell)

im crying! it is so sad! it reminds me of a lady in my hometown who killed all 5 of her children under 2yrs old over this extended period of time-they became a “burden” to her-she suffocated each of them, but no investigation was done til the last one! it is SICK that mothers can have no CLUE & hurt something so precious…& REPEATEDLY GIVE BIRTH THEN KILL THEM! I cried then, & i’ll cry now 🙁

The sad part is that all the lives were ruined… not just the children who were killed. The sick (mentally ill) woman, her husband, the child who lived, all their extended family. Mental illness is a terrible, terrible thing. I really honestly believe that she can’t be held responsible for what she did.

I wish I had not read about this. I am crying so hard right now!
