Surgery

Mom goes back to surgery tomorrow at 11.  The tissue around the colostomy is dying.  It will have to be redone and more colon will have to be removed.  She already lost two feet the last time.  The surgeon is also putting in a feeding tube and doing a tracheotomy.  I’m being told she has been on the vent too long and that she has to have the tracheotomy next.  I don’t know why.  I didn’t know there was a time limit on these things.

I’ve got to shower so I can go see Mom.
