Postponed

I couldn’t write yesterday because I was so upset.  Her surgery is rescheduled for tomorrow.  One of the doctors doesn’t believe she can go into the surgery and not come out not on a ventilator.  He seemed pretty positive that if she ends up on a vent that it would be for a while.  Her electrolytes are all out of whack too.  So they think that by waiting a couple of days those can be straightened out.

The oncologist came in last night.  The blood work shows no colon cancer markers, but the CA-125, the ovarian and breast cancer markers are coming in pretty high.  The oncologist told Mom not to worry about it until we can get a biopsy because unless there is a biopsy we can’t know for sure what is going on in there.  She said "no tissue, no issue".  I didn’t know cancer came with rhymes.

Right now its set for 9:30 tomorrow morning. 

I guess we’ll see what happens now.
