Nice, Easy Monday
It really was a quite Monday. Thank you Lord. I went with my grandmother to her oncologist. I do not know why she wants me to go though. She makes me wait outside, because she thinks that the doctor always talks more to the visitor than the patient. The news is that the Gleevec is working and she will probably not have to do chemo afterwards. Gleevec has only been out on the market for a couple of years, but it has great success at the kind of cancer she has. It seems to be doing its job. Now instead of every four weeks, she will not go back for six. That puts her into May. I think it makes dealing with it all easier for her to know that she maybe coming to the end.
Last night was my third birthing class. We started with ten couples in there, and last night there were only three more besides Brandy and me (I will go into why Joseph isnt going with me at some other time.). Last night was about breastfeeding and taking care of a baby. I could tell the men in that class really enjoyed the whole breastfeeding video. It was sooooooooooo .long. I went to the potty right before it started and then right after it went off. Not that that really means anything these days, but it was a long video. The narrator was Mrs. Monotone. If I didnt have to pee so badly, I think that I would have went to sleep. Interesting, right?
I have to go to the doctor on Thursday. I am so not looking forward to it. We are now down to the last few visits and they just happen to be those really fun kind of visits. I hate stirrups. And what exactly makes a doctor think that that little piece of cloth they give you to cover your ass makes you feel any better about being half-naked. And what man invented those damn stirrups in the first place? Maybe a contortionist is comfortable in those damn things, because Im sure as hell not.
Oh well, I am off to lie down. Yall have a nice day.
Mandy

🙂 I totally understand, lucky for me, my OB doesn’t use them unless she has too. 🙂
