Mom’s Foot
If you are easily grossed out, don’t look.
No. I’m for real. If you are going to be nauseous or upset or bothered by this, then don’t look. She is in a lot of pain. They are giving her morphine. And then they come in and spray some brown looking crap on her foot. I have no idea what it is.
Okay.
Be really sure.
I’m serious.
Andbody have any ideas?
How do I make this better?
How do I fix my Mom?
Y’all take care and hug those babies tight.

I’m sorry your Mum has to go thru this, not fair. It’s best to try and leave the blisters intact as a burst blister is increased risk of getting infected, bugs can crawl in. I put a zinc bandage on my patients that had blisters, they said it was very soothing. Make sure your Mum has a bed cradle to keep the sheets off her legs as the weight of sheets is very painful. keep the circulation going. The brown spray is probably an antiseptic to dry the blisters and kill bugs on her skin. I hope the morphine helps with the pain. She can’t get addicted to the morph so make sure she has it regularly to keep the pain under control. Open wounds need to be covered with a silver dressing. Just be there for her, talk about mundane things, she’ll find it interesting I bet!
