Brandi is a Tax Day Baby

She was born on Thursday at 5:51 pm weighing 7 pounds 10 ounces and measuring 20 inches. She is quite likely the most beautiful baby in the entire world. After a full 24 hours of labor, I had a c-section. She was facing up and her chin was making it to hard for her to fit through the birth canal. Joseph sat by my head through the surgery. It was pretty fast and having no feeling what so ever from the chest was really interesting. It was even weirder feeling as my body woke up from the top down. It was about noon the next day before I could feel my feet.

Im told that I had an incredibly hard labor, but I slept through most of it. Wednesday night the nurse gave me two Ambiens to sleep. About an hour after the Cervidil was put in, I started having some serious contractions, so she gave me the Amibiens to calm my nerves and help me get through the night. The next morning, I was really in pain. Dr. came in and broke my water at about 8 ad of course that upped my contractions even more. I now have a new love in my life, the anesthesiologist. He was a God send. After him, I went back to sleep. I only woke up as people came and went. They told me that I had a bunch of visitors, I really dont remember.

Okay, Im really hurting right now. Ill tell yall more later. Actully I think that is about it for her birth. She is asleep on her Daddys chest right now.
