Its been so nice around her without all the extra people.  I love the holidays, but when its over with I want some quite.  Our house is the cool house now and everybody wants to come here for parties.  Its fun, but fuck no one ever wants to clean up when they are finished.

I made the most fabulous New Years meal (fried pork chops, mashed taters, collard greens, corn, roasted taters and baby onions, black eyed peas, and corn bread) for nine people, but we ended up with fifteen.  Of course I always cook way too much, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time.  And it would have been way nicer if one of them had of volunteered to help with the cleanup.  They all conviently had to leave right after dinner.  Guess I’m just bitchy.

Jesse goes back to school tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!  Hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!  I love my little brother, but its time for him to get out of my hair.  He and Baby Doll have done almost nothing, but fight the whole time he has been out of school.  Its too damn funny.  All of the sudden there is this screaching sound and then Jesse comes down here trying to squeeze out a tear.  He likes to take stuff away from Doll and she likes to beat him up.  She has been doing plenty of corner time for hitting here lately.

Okay, I had to change a dirty diaper.  Anybody else having hell with potty training?  She leaves the room and then comes back smiling telling me she is poopy.  I’m at my end with her now.  I’ve tried everything from putting her on the pot for long periods, to time outs, to pulling my hair out.  Nothing is works.  She told me that Mamaw wears a pullup like she does.  How do I fight that?  Mom can’t help it, but come on now, Doll is almost three.  My mom keeps reminding me that we were potty trained at nine months, but hell there were two of us at once.  I would have wanted us trained pretty quick too.

Oh well.  I’m tired of rambling.  Talk at y’all later.
