So the cancer is on the liver, her colon, and in the lymph nodes. Its called metastatic sarcoma, which is a fairly general term. The pathologist is looking for the point of origin now. I guess that means something different when it comes time for chemo.
She is still on the vent. It was turned off yesterday for a while. The nurse said she did really good breathing on her own for a while, but then she had some trouble and they started it back up again. The machine is sitting at 40%.
As soon as Mom is off the vent she will be moved to a long term care center. It won’t be teh same one she was put in last time where the techs fought over who had to chang her diaper. We raised enough hell that the insurance company approved one closer to home. We can check on her easier that way.

Love you Mandy. I wish I could be there and give you a big hug and tell you that it is all going to be ok. I wish it was better news. And I wish I could be there for you guys.
