Not a whole lot going on around here.

The kids are home for the summer. We’ve been to the pool three times. It was kinda awesome. The three water babies are mighty adorable when they get to play at the pool.

I had to suffer through Cici’s today. It was thirty bucks for their cheap ass crappy pizza. The kids love it, but I’m so not a fan. I’d rather eat the pizza at Chuck E. Cheese, at least it tastes better for how fucking expensive it is.

Oh, I have an appointment Fri. morning with an advisor at UT in Tyler. Its an hour drive from here, but the tuition is less than half what the school here in Dallas charge. I think I can handle the drive three days a week. Its only two years and I will have my Bachelor’s in nursing. Its a step forward.

Chuck E Cheese is a pizza place? I always thought it was some kind of cheap burger chain when I hear it mentioned in US dramas and sit-coms.

I had to laugh when you mention going to the pool as we just had our first (early) snowfall for the year. All pools frozen here! Good luck with the Uni, those 2 years will fly, can’t believe I have been nursing for 18 years…that has gone by so fast. * hugs*

You can handle the drive, especially if tuition is cheaper! My drive to school is about the same, just 4 days a week and it is still totally worth it.

It may be possible, too, to take some of them by distance/online learning.
