Hidden in these deep brown eyes

Buried deep, here the beauty lies

These are the windows to my soul

Take my hand and don’t let go

Feel my heartbeat, hear me breathe

Promise now you’ll never leave

Without you I can breathe no more

Blood will drain, the rain will pour

Behind these eyes I’m nothing at all

I’m striving for life while others fall

I’m crawling towards the distant light

But I will fade no more, no not tonight

By your hand I shall be saved

Not descending to a leaden grave

So take my heart and hold it near

I shall breathe now, cleansed of fear
