These heartfelt apologies
Are all I have left of you
You left without a whisper
You came back to me in a fit of rage
Storming and exploding and losing it
Singling me out with a crook of your finger

Your words razorsharp but your eyes

As dull as the gray clouds

It’s hell and fire raining down on me

You turn around and throw

Everything I ever said

Back in my face

As it falls onto the ground

You crush the shattered pieces

You almost seemed sincere

For a minute there; i almost believed you

because these heartfelt apologies

are all I have left of you
