1. Do you open people’s medicine cabinets? Do you feel, on the whole, guiltier when you get caught or don’t get caught? Do you feel guilty about not feeling guilty enough when you don’t get caught?

I don’t.  Well, okay, while house hunting I did.  But really only to see how deep the medicine cabinet is.
 
2. What was the first "adult" book you recall reading? (As opposed to kids books.)

I honestly cannot remember.  I do remember the first adult movie I ever saw though.  Babysitting at my friend Kim’s house with her.  She went to bed, I was downstairs watching cable, you know, back when cable was new.  I switched channels and caught some of "Young Lady Chatterly’s Lover" and was shocked…and excited.  I still remember the sex scene I caught, her standing in front of a seated man on the floor and him giving her oral sex…I still haven’t done that.
 
3. As a little kid, did you consciously act like a little kid?

Ah, no, notsomuch.  Was too busy taking care of my little brother and being my mother’s confidant and caregiver.
 
4. As far as places you’ve been, if you are tallying the list for the sheer pleasure of a large number, do airports count?

No, not really.  I really haven’t been many places by airplane.
 
5. What is the longest you’ve ever gone without speaking to another human? Do you think you could go a week?

I don’t know…maybe 24-hours, if that?  No, I know I could not go a whole week without speaking to another human.  I’d go nuts.
 
6. For whom have you caused the greatest joy?  

Sad, but I don’t know.  I hope I have caused great joy for a lot of people.
 
7. When is the last time you purchased pornography?

I honestly have never purchased pornography. 
 
8. When was the last time you ran as fast as you possibly could?

Last night, in my dream…I was running, absolutely terrified from something I could not see.
 
9. Do you ever find yourself (particularly when dressed up) tallying up the total cost of all that you have on?
No, never.
 
10. Is "like" your vocal tic, or is it "you know"?
I try not to say "like" because it comes across as being stupid.  If I had to chose, I guess "you know" would be something I use a lot in writing, not really so much in speaking.  I do say "so" a lot.
 
11. In what grade in school did people begin to "date"? Were you in on this?
Junior High, and no, not really.

 
12. If you had to dispose of a dead body, how would you?
Uhm, I really wouldn’t have the need to dispose of a dead body.  But if I came across one?  I’d call the police and have them dispose of it.

 
13. Who is your least judgmental friend?
I honestly don’t have one…sad.
 

14. What is the first website you go to after you check your email?
I generally poke around the front page of AOL reading stories there.

 
15. What is the longest book or series of books you’ve ever read? 
The entire Mitford Series by Jan Karon.

 
16. Do you like watching flying helium balloons disappear into specks? Do you watch loved ones disappear on train platforms or in rearview mirrors? Do you watch as long as you can?
Yes, no, no.  I don’t like long drawn out goodbyes, they make my heart ache.
 
17. As a host, are you skilled and willing, skilled and unwilling, unskilled and willing, or unskilled and unwilling? In general, do you feel it’s your fault if someone is not having a good time?
I’ll go with skilled and willing.

Yeah, a smoking engine.

I have never googled myself, why would I?  I’m not that interesting.
 
20. At what age was your first kiss? How often do you think of this?
Sixth grade, Danny Wood in Kim’s garage.
 
21. How often do you sleep till you wake? 
Every day really.  I wake up, no matter how late I’ve gone to bed, at 7:00 AM the latest.  I can’t sleep in, I have the dogs and they need walking and feeding. 
 
22. If you could own a pro sports franchise, which sport would it be? Which team?
I. Don’t. Want. To. Own. A. Stinking. Sports. Team!!!
 
23. Who was your favorite teacher?  
Mrs. Perkins, my second grade teacher.  She was the ONLY one to ever acknowledge that she knew things for me at home were horrible.  Back then people stayed out of things like that.
 
24. At what age did you cease taking baths or cease exclusively taking baths?
I still take baths…I shower during the week, but take at least one bath a week.
 
25. What is your favorite month?
January…the month I was born.
