Where do you go to meet people?

I’ve found myself in the same predicament. Only thing I can think of is poetry readings or open mics, things of that nature.

I ask myself this question daily… Let’s figure something out and go together LOL

What do you like? Where do people go when they like what you like? Go there. Sadly, for me, my kind of people are here.

Some kind of volunteer work where you might meet someone who has a similar interest. I meet people at work, but that all depends on what kind of job you have. There’s also church. Friends of friends. Even here on OD, if you seek out folks who live in your area. It sounds simple, but I know it isn’t. There has to be that connection when you meet someone.

Yup I have no idea. I’ve given up on looking lol.

I met my honey on line…but I had to date a lot of duds before him.

I’ve been battling it too – and short of people I knew in other places at other times who have come back into my life – I am short on people too. I’ve also been told once you stop looking you find someone – but I have to get out and start interacting with people first… any way possible 🙂

at the library! ok, i dont know if that actually works, but hey, it’s worth a shot. I personally met Tim at a bar, but before I met him, I also met a lot of assholes via the bar scene, so i wouldn’t advise trying it! good luck!

after i broke up with my ex years ago i stopped looking for a new bf…Ty turned up at work one day and the rest is history. It’s very unconventional but go to cuba…lol
