What’s the point?

 Dear Diary;

I went back to my doctor today. I went in there with the intention of finding out what the heck is wrong with me; I told the nurse and the doctor that I thought the medicine was working alright but wasn’t taking away the main problem I went in there for in the first place (which was the strange feeling in my chest and the random "pain"). The problem with both of them, it seems, is that they have cotton balls stuffed in their ears.

 What’s the point of going in to see your doctor and talk about your concerns if they don’t LISTEN to what you’re telling them? Seriously?

Anyway, after trying to put me on birth control (again) it eventually ended by him writing me a prescription for more of the same stuff I was on before. Awesome. Thanks for hearing my concerns and taking the time to actually figure it out. Asshole.

I’m feeling pretty damn defeated and if I die of a heart attack or some other problem when I’m sleeping I just want it to be known that I tried several times to figure it all out with no success.

I’m done.

edit for warning:

Please, please, PLEASE don’t tell me to see another doctor. I’ve explained before why that’s NOT an option. Yes, I’ve been to the ER and NO they aren’t going to help me if I go back. NO, another doctor in my town will NOT see me because I already have a family doctor. We do NOT have a walk-in clinic in my town either.

Thanks- but suggestions like this don’t help me.

It seems like…if they don’t hear the “catch words” they’re looking for…they blow you off entirely. And that sucks.
