Well, that was uncomfortable.

♥ I had to have an ultrasound tonight after work. I asked if I could leave early a while ago and it just happened to work out that there were only 2 people in today so it was no problem. I had started drinking water at 3:300ish for my appt. at 6:15 and by 4:45 I was DYING. I was about to leave work around 5:30 but I absolutely couldn’t stand the pain any more so I went to the bathroom to pee just a little bit- which let me tell you, is HARD. It  helped a bit, but I thought- I should drink more water so my bladder fills up again by the time I get there. I didn’t make it half way there and I had to pull over and squat. Then when I got to the hospital, I was dying AGAIN and couldn’t even walk across the parking lot normally. I snuck into the bathroom in the hospital before I checked in and tried to pee and little bit again. Brutal. 

Luckily, she admitted me right away and then I only had to suffer through her pushing on my bladder for 5 more minutes. She couldn’t see what she was looking for, so she said I’d have to have an internal ultrasound- which I’ve never had before.  At that point though, the only thing I heard was "you get to go to the bathroom first" and I was so relieved that I didn’t even care. 

It wasn’t as bad as I had thought it would be, actually. Uncomfortable- but nothing as bad as the pushing on the bladder thing. She couldn’t find my ovary though, so it sucked trying to find it. Ugh. I should have results next week.

Sigh. what a day.
