The weird quirks.
I do strange things. I have weird quirks. I don’t even realize half of them until someone else points them out to me. For example, a few weeks ago when I was serving dinner to myself and my mom, she pointed out that I always have to leave the pan (with the remaining food) perfectly sectioned off. I realize that doesn’t make any sense, so I’ll do my best to explain. Some people can take a spoon and spoon the food from a pan or dish onto their plate and not care about what it looks like. I can’t do that. I have to section off what I want and remove it from the pan/dish/pot/etc in a perfect shape. Like when we have lasagna (which isn’t often, because I don’t like it), I have to cut my piece with a knife and then use a spatula to dish out a perfect square shape. The night mom mentioned it to me, we were having Tuna Helper and I spooned out a perfect triangular amount from the pan. I didn’t even realize I did it, until it was pointed out. Now I notice that I do it all the time.
more examples:
See, now normally this would be perfect. Perfect shape and no crumbs left behind- except it would bother me that the tomato was cut in half.
THIS would bother me and I would eat more, simply so I could straighten the line and clean it up.
NEVER SERVE FROM THE MIDDLE!!!
Etc, etc, etc…
This is what I write about when I have nothing else to write.
I have some weird ones too…lol….I won’t drink a can of pop if there are only 2 left….I feel like the remaining one would be lonely.

I do the pan sectioning and I’ll definitely eat that last half tomato so it’s not a straggler. I like to lead by example and I’ll serve the food so it’s not served from the middle. 🙂

hee hee… thats great. Quirks are what makes us unique. I always have to leave something uneaten on my olate (like my crusts) after every meal. My mom giggles at me… but a agree… i tidy up serving dishes, eat desserts like that too.
