Still can’t see straight.

 Dear Diary;

Well, first of all, I still can’t see straight. I feel like I’m drunk when I put my glasses on. I’ll admit, I cried a bit this morning because I was frustrated that I couldn’t see and I didn’t want to wear my glasses because they make the world blurry and uneven. Why pay so much money out of my own pocket to get a pair of glasses that aren’t right? I don’t know, maybe I’m over-reacting, but I’m not lying when I say I can’t see straight out of my glasses unless I squint. I noticed this morning, after wearing them for a little while, that when I looked in the mirror my right eye looked really droopy. It was just because I was – unknowingly- squinting my right eye, but not my left. I’m just concerned that the right lens isn’t right. I shouldn’t have to squint out of my glasses to see… right? I don’t know. It’s such a fucking hassle.

I had my interview this morning. WHAT THE FUCK IS A FUNCTIONAL TASK??? It seems like an easy question, but my mind went completely blank and I said .."uh.. brushing your teeth". NO JOKE. what the hell kind of answer is that?

The rest of the interview went well. We’ll see if I ever get a call back after that functional task question. *smacks head*

They might’ve messed up the prescription…I would call and see what they say. I do know that when my friend got her new glasses, she found out that the prescription in her old glasses was too strong and it took her about a week for her eyes to adjust. So maybe that’s what’s going on. However, I truly feel your pain *hugs* And I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you get a call-back. I knowyou would prefer to move away though, so I’ll also keep my fingers crossed that you get a call from another place to interview at 🙂

Yah – def call the eye place and tell them you are having a really hard time adjusting to them.

do your glasses have prisms in the lenses? a lot of people can’t wear them with prisms even if they need them. Will they fix your prescription for free?

I hope you check back with your eye doc and tell ’em what’s going on. If it’s not right, they should fix it. I think brushing your teeth is a functional task.

I would definitly take them back and make them fix them…that’s just awful to not be able to see out of them. they’re supposed to help you..not make it worse
