Smooth escape.

Today’s lesson on how to avoid a speeding ticket…

It wasn’t like I was going THAT fast or anything. I had followed some cars for a while and was tired of going 80kph (50mph?) so I used a passing lane to my advantage on Hwy7 (which is a long, busy highway and most people drive 100kph) and passed the cars. I didn’t need to go over 100kph to pass them. I must’ve past a cop somewhere, because moments later I could see his lights coming up behind the slowpokes I’d just passed. By this time, I had slowed back down to a reasonable 90kph and was holding. I thought for sure he was coming for me, but when I looked again, he had turned his lights off and was passing cars to get closer to me. I held my slower speed and someone pulled out of a driveway directly behind me. The cop came up behind the car behind me, followed for a bit and then turned off on a side road and I saw him driving back the other way. *phew*

Mobile Internet FTW

I decided to get my own rogers rocket mobile internet stick. Since I have this new fancy-dancy lap top, I figured I could use the internet with it wherever I go. I might be able to use it at camp, If  can get a signal. I stopped there on the way home one day to see if I could pick anything up from the road, but I couldn’t. it doesn’t look good for internet at camp, but that’s nothing new. I have 2 months of unlimited use and then I have to pay for however much I use. You can bet that I’m watching videos and downloading all the shit I can think of right now.
