Passing Phase…

Ok.

After I put my phone down and went to bed last night, I expected some kind of text in the morning from her, but instead I didn’t hear anything from her until just now- almost 10 o’clock at night. I sent her a couple of texts today- totally tame. The one she answered was "Whitney Houston died.. did you hear?"

Which, btw… wow.

Anyway, she told me she’s sorry for telling me the way she did but she doesn’t regret it and she’s looking forward to the summer. Not much else was said, and that’s probably for the best since I have a huge history of sticking my foot in my mouth.

sigh.

In other news, I went to see One For The Money tonight! It was pretty good, true to the book but not absolutely fantastic. Really though, when is a movie ever better than a book? Almost never. 

I had sushi for supper. Yum.
