NJM 3 – First day

 Dear Diary;

My cat is on my lap and this is going to be difficult to type.

I like today’s prompt for NoJoMo so I’m going with it.  It’s basically a play by play of my day- which happened to be my first day of work.

6:30am- Alarm goes off and for a minute I refuse to move.
6:31am – I get up *sigh*.
6:35am- Cook oatmeal for breakfast with cinnamon and sugar. Yum
7:00am- Shower, fix hair, pick out clothes.
8:00am- Make a quick lunch, use some fabric tape to hem my new pants (fabric tape= good investment).
8:10am- Leave for work.
8:45am- find a place to park on the next street over because there is NO parking anywhere near my new place of employment.
8:50am- Arrive at work and jump right in to orientation.
9:00am- Tour of house and location of manuals.
9:20am- Start reading the pile of binders and manuals on my desk (in my new office!).
10:00am- Reading…..
11:00am- Reading….
12:00pm- Reading…
12:30pm- Lunch break, but not really a break. Just moving from my office t downstairs where I get introduced to "the guys".
1:00pm- Back to reading…
2:00pm- Reading….
(bored yet?)
3:00pm- WOO HOO! I can stop reading and go home.
3:30pm- Stop at Timmy’s for an iced coffee
3:45pm- Get home and let the cat out and the dog in.
3:47pm- Let the dog out and the cat in.
3:48pm- Let the dog in.
4:00pm- Let the dog and cat out.
4:08pm- Let the cat in. *for heavens sake… it’s like this all night long*
4:15pm- Sit down at computer, turn Buffy on the TV and browse Facebook.
4:20pm- Opendiary. Read. Write.
4:27pm- …. Write this.
4:28pm- .. Write this.
4:29pm- Write this and decide not to spend the next hour doing the same thing. Hit save and move on.

Easy, yet boring day.
