NJM 23 – Running On Empty

Dear Diary;

Jackson Browne, man. Running On Empty. Good song. This version I’m listening to skips a little bit, which is a bummer.

If you didn’t catch my edit yesterday, Kim emailed me back and officially offered me the Wellness Co. position for sumer 2010- and I accepted. I am now the first official staff member for summer 2010. If I get a job (and I sure hope I do!) between now and then, I’m not sure how it’s going to work out.

I’m feeling pretty good today. I had a great bath with some goats milk bubble bath and body wash and then used my goats milk lotion afterwards.. mmmm. Smells SO good. I got out of the tub and the sun was starting to come out from behind the clouds so I walked over to the mailbox and enjoyed some fresh air (and my new jacket!). T’was nice… until I pulled my phone bill from the mail box. Bah.

I’m cranking out the Christmas tunes. It’s the end of November and really, I LOVE Christmas music. I don’t get people who don’t like Christmas music or who complain when stores starting playing it.. It’s GREAT! I mean, granted, some of it is a little cheesy and not so nice, but if you look around you can find the most beautiful versions of some of these songs. There’s such a limited time you can listen to the music- once Christmas is over you pretty much have to put it away for the rest of the year.. why not start listening to it early?

I’m really wanting to go see New Moon, but I just know it will be busy as hell and I hate crowds. I’d go during the day when the kiddies are in school, but my car is dead and gone so that’s a no go. Speaking of car.. my dad (believe it or not) is asking around for old used cars that would be suitable for me. If he gets one, it’ll be another piece of shit, but as long as it gets me from point A to point B, It’ll do.

I’m gonna go order my free telus calendar now. Ciao.
