Let them eat cake. *

Dear Diary;

♥ I really want to make a cake and decorate it all nice and pretty like. I don’t know why. I just got this idea in my head for a cake and now I want to try to make it. Anyone know where I can get a good fondant (in Canada)?

♥ There’s a beaver on Vincent Van Gogh’s nose and a moose and a giraffe are watching. I wish I could take a picture and show you but I’m at work. .. oh, I’m talking about the floor. I see pictures in it and it entertains me.

♥ What kinds of jobs can I apply for? I don’t want anything in a group home again- I just need something to pay bills until I can go back to school. Nothing long-term. I really want something I can have a little fun with, you know? I mean, jobs suck in general, but I want to find something that I can maybe enjoy (or at least tolerate) for a few years.

♥ I made fondant! I’m surprised that they had all the ingredients needed to make it (which really, isn’t much at all) here at work. I (over)baked a chocolate fudge cake and then made my gloriously sticky fondant- adding a little extra corn starch to soften it and prevent it from sticking to everything. It’s currently in the freezer getting hard and ready for use in about half an hour.

I’ll try to take pictures of the finished product with my cell phone.
