It’s hard enough to be a woman..

It’s hard enough to be a fat girl. I don’t understand why companies can’t make clothing in larger sizes that’s actually cute and well made. Is it really that much to ask for?

My day was pretty crappy. I got up early to go with mom to Ottawa. She wanted to go to Costco- and I usually like Costco, so I went. Turns out people in Ottawa are all ignorant morons though, which made the trip that much more fun. *eye roll*

I hate going out into large crowds to begin with, as you may or may not know. I knew from the moment we were almost hit by a car before even getting into the building that this was going to be a disaster. The place was so crowded, it was insane. At one point, I was following mom with a shopping cart and some lady RAN INTO ME almost shoving her cart up my ass. I turned around and what did she say? nothing. No "oh, I’m sorry…" not a word. A little while later we were walking down an aisle and there was a woman coming in the other direction.. we wanted to turn to go down another aisle so we were waiting for this woman to pass us before we turned the cart to go down and what do you suppose happened? She walked right up to where we were, blocked the aisle with her cart and then WALKED AWAY from it to go look at something else across another aisle. Like… wtf? At this point, I was pretty ticked off and about at the end of my rope so I walked over, shoved her damn cart out of the way (like, litterally pushed it hard and let it roll to.. whever it ended up), grabbed ours and pushed through the crowd. Fuck ’em all.

anyway..

I’ve been looking for a coat for a while now- with no luck, of course. I find lots that are super cute and that I like, except none of them come in a size larger than 14. We went to walmart on the way home and I thought maybe my luck was turning because there was a cute coat that actually fit me. I ended up buying it, but when I got home and tried it on again it wasn’t near as cute as I thought. It’s has shoulder pads.. SHOULDER PADS!! What the fuck? How did I not notice that before and why the hell are shoulder pads being used again- especially in a COAT? Ugh. I’m going to return the jacket and try to find something else.

I thought I did find something else- a cute coat on the Lane Bryant website that mom was going to buy me as a Christmas present- but guess what? Lane Bryant isn’t shipping to Canada right now. Hmm, how convienient for them that their "website is being repaired to ship to Canada" right at the time that our Dollar is almost at par with the US dollar. FUCK.

I’m really frustrated today.
