I live in a box.

It’s 9ft by 10ft and it contains almost all the things I’ve accumulated over the past 10 years. Okay, that’s a lie. I can’t store EVERYTHING in here. My mother constantly complains that I have "a lot of shit", but when you think about it, it’s not as much "shit" as she has- it’s just all contained in this 9×10 room. If I had my own apartment again, it would be bare. 

That’s what happens when you move back in with your parents. They complain about your shit, you get bitter because you’re forced to throw out or sell your junk and you make the best of living in a box.

I’ve decided to make my box as nice as possible. I’m re-decorating. It’s been the same for what.. 5 or 6 years now? That’s a LONG time for me to keep a space the same. Same colour, same arrangement of furniture, same messes because I don’t have any storage options. Same big, old, ugly, mother fucking desk that I’ve grown to HATE since I bought it. Remember when I loved this thing? Once upon a time I was delusional and thought that this desk was the shit. I’ve grown to realize that it’s TOO BIG for this space, the colour is butt ugly and oh yes, did I mention it’s too big for this box of a room? I’m going to have to tear it apart to fit it out the door. 

 Anyway.. I’ll post some before pictures and when I’m done I’ll post the after.

That’s what it looks like now- except it’s not nearly that clean. There’s a lot more junk, more stuff on the walls..the chair is different (it has to go too). It might appear big in the pictures, but it’s really not. between the bed and the desk- there is NO extra room. There’s an L shaped space to walk to my closet, but even now, there’s so much stuff on the floor it doesn’t seem like there’s any place to stand.
