Frustrated with my body.

♥ I have to make yet another appointment with my doctor asap. I still haven’t heard any results from all my blood tests and my ultrasound- so that’s part of the reason I want to make the appointment. The other reason is because I have been dizzy almost every day for the past week or so. Today was the absolute worst. Most days, I wake up and when I get out of bed, I have a dizzy spell. Eventually, it goes away- sometimes I can get rid of it faster if I take an Advil Cold and Sinus (for some reason, that always seemed to work). At first, I thought maybe I was getting a cold. The last time I got a bad head cold I was dizzy in the morning and then had a nap and woke up with sinus pain. This time, no cold. Just constant dizziness.

I wasn’t sure I could go to work today. I can find a head position that allows me to steady the world, but moving my head in certain ways just messes everything up. In the end, I didn’t have a choice but to suffer through work because I was the only one there today and there’s simply no one to cover should I ever be sick. When we lost our third staff, a decision from the supervisors was to not hire anyone else and since January it’s just been Kirsty and myself holding down the fort. We had to tell one of the kids that we couldn’t support him on the 2 days when we have a full house- so he’s not coming on Monday and Thursday anymore.

I’m beyond frustrated with this body and my health. I have NO idea what’s wrong with me and my doctor hasn’t been very helpful at all.

He put me on Rabeprazole for my GERD (remember the chest pain I kept having? yeah..) AGAIN and after 30 days, I’m experiencing heartburn almost every day. Thankfully though, and writing this may be the kiss of death, I haven’t had the crazy chest pain.

He also put my on Ativan for the panic attacks I was having (the fear of having a heart attack when I was having the chest pain is part of the attack) and I’ve only had to take it a few times.

This dizziness thing has to stop. It’s starting to scare me and it’s NOT fun.

Yes, call the doc. You need some answers! So sorry.

Saw you on the front… could it be a sinus infection, maybe? My husband got really dizzy one day at work, went to the ER, they did some scans and discovered that he had a really bad sinus infection. He was dizzy for a couple days, until the antibiotics kicked in…

re: I’m not sure that my husband’s were bothering him either. For him, it was like he was perfectly fine one day, then went to work the next day and swore he was about to die or something. It was an odd thing. Anyway. I hope you figure out what it is, and feel better. 🙂
