Eats, Shoots & Leaves.

 Dear Diary;

I picked up the book Eats, Shoots & Leaves this evening.  I’ve been wanting to read it for a while now, but never had the chance to buy it. It was 25% off so I couldn’t resist.  I’m already gritting my teeth at some of the grammatically incorrect sentences I’ve been seeing on Facebook and Open Diary.  I understand that everyone makes mistakes (Lord knows I do), but when you see something like "Today (name) got her first bout of needles today…" you cringe a little.

Olympic Highlights:

♥ Don’t count us out, USA! Canada is still in it. Hockey is our game, after all. (whoa, almost had to change that! haha)
♥ Eat it, Ohno.
♥ Ladies Curling- so close it makes me want to cry a little.
♥ Joannie Rochette- superstar.
♥ Women’s Hockey- showing the boys how it’s done.
