DePhoMo Six … and stuff

Family, Pregnancy or Childlike.

That’s a pic from my ipod. it’s both Childlike & Family- since it’s my cousin Nick.

In other news..
I had a terrible day yesterday. I got up and got ready for work early so that I could leave and hit Payless Shoesource in Kanata first. It’s an extra 25 minutes there and 25 back to get to work. I don’t know why I wasted my time, because of course they didn’t have what I was looking for. I had fallen in love with a pair of shoes I saw advertised in a commercial and I checked it out online first. It told me that they were available in stores, but sold out in my size online. I stopped at the store in Smiths Falls on Friday, but not only did they not have them in my size, but the whole SF store is closing for good. I thought maybe a bigger city would have a better selection, but I was wrong. Just out of curiosity, I asked if the clerk in the store could tell me if they were available in another Ottawa location. THEY’RE NOT ANYWHERE IN OTTAWA. Talk about the biggest disappointment ever. I HATE having big feet. I’m mad at myself for falling in love with the stupid shoes that are impossible to find.

I stopped for lunch and then went to work. I ended up transporting one of the kids to respite and then I stopped at the store to try to find a shirt or something for our work Christmas party tomorrow night. I, of course, found nothing. I headed home.

When I got in the door, I realized the entire sole of my new winter boots was coming off. FUUUUCK. And of course, it would snow overnight. Dad ended up taking them to Mark’s Cobbler to get them fixed this morning. He thought they would be able to glue it and get it done right away. Turns out they won’t be done until Saturday. I’m thinking it would’ve been cheaper and more convenient to buy a new pair.

Then I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and realized that I had been walking around at work and the store with some of my lunch on my fucking face and no one told me!

Then, to end the day, I plugged in my ipod to download some pictures to my computer, but an error fucked it up and I had to erase and restore everything on my ipod. At first, it just erased everything and then told me if couldn’t be restored, so I had a major melt down and texted my brother to see if he could help. In the end, I figured it out and then I just went to bed and gave up on the day.

Here’s hoping today is a bit better.

That does sound like a sucky day – I’m so glad you were able to restore what was on your IPOD – I’d be devestated if I lost all my stuff!

Boo 🙁 Today is another day and hopefully it treats you a lot better! I have the opposite problem finding good shoes. My feet are around a size 3/4 kids and it’s hard finding ones that are wide enough and age appropriate. Sketchers that light up aren’t exactly *hot* on a 27 yr old lol

RYN: Thank you!

I love the picture!!! It looks very “western,” kind of like those “WANTED” signs you see on TV and movies, and it looks old – is it old or is that just your artistic touch?
