♥ So, I have to be in bed in the next couple of hours because I gotta get up around 4am. I should probably get up earlier because i have to be there for 6:30- not 7 and the weather is SHIT, but I’m going to chance it. Thank goodness I’m off on Sunday so I have at least a day to recover.

I have my schedule already from now until March and other than one day I have to switch (because there’s a conflict with my other job) it looks pretty solid.

I couldn’t get in to the office today to resign, which pissed me off. I decided to call because it was the next best thing and I didn’t want to leave it until next week (because then I’d have to stay even longer) but after calling THREE separate times and getting no answer, I decided to just leave a message. I feel bad it had to go down that way and not in person, but what can I do, right? I left a simple message asking her to call me back and that I had some bad news and would be needing to resign my position. I didn’t go into details because that wouldn’t be tasteful. She never called me back- so I’m assuming she didn’t go to work today. At least I’ve made it known and can use today as my date for my "two weeks from date of notice".

I was looking at apartments in Ottawa today. I KNOW!! I got a little too excited and had to stop looking.

I also decided to do some calculations. I calculated how much I’ll earn by the end of next week (almost $500 from the new job alone) and then I calculated how much I would make if I asked for more hours- they said I could get up to 40hrs a week. 40 hours/week at 13.95/hr = $558 a week. After 2.5 weeks my salary goes up to $15.80. Sooo, 40hrs a week at $15.80 = $632/week which works out to $2528 for 4 weeks or approx. 1 month.

So I could be making upwards of $2528 per month once I get going! That’s about 6 TIMES what I made this month from my old job.

I know you don’t care about that, but I DO! I FINALLY won’t be broke all the time! I may even actually be able to AFFORD my own apartment!
