Cleaning and sh!t…

Dear Diary;

It’s 1:30am and I’m pooped. I can’t sleep though, which is totally normal (and I hate it).

I spent almost all day today cleaning out my closet. I had to run to town and hand out a few resume’s first, but then I came home and started pulling EVERYTHING out of my closet. I should’ve taken pictures of the process, I can’t believe so much stuff came out of there. I have so many pieces of clothing, it’s un-freaking-believable. I had to make a bunch of different piles to sort it all out- I had a pile of garbage and pile to give away, a pile to put back in and a pile to move to the dresser in the newly cleaned and organized basement. I decided that I would have more room if I put my summer clothes downstairs in the winter. Turns out, it works like a charm and now I actually have a shelf or two in my closet to store my camera and stuff (as opposed to storing it on the floor in a pile). I even cleared a shelf for some books. It feels GREAT to be able to get rid of some stuff that I don’t want or need anymore (I’ll talk about that stuff in another entry).

Tomorrow I’ll start working on my desk- which is a terrible mess. I’m looking forward to being able to FINALLY store some stuff downstairs on clean, organized shelves instead of in various boxes all in a big heap. Seriously, you have NO idea what it was like down there. I’m such an idiot, I should’ve taken before and after pictures. *smacks head*.

I’m talking about really, boring crap tonight, I should probably just stop writing now.

I watched the entire first season of Dexter over the past couple of days and I started on season 2 tonight. Love that show.
