Burned.

 ♥ He begged me to meet with him tonight so he could explain himself. "It’s complicated" was the only thing he would say. I needed closure, so I drove to see him. We were going to meet half way.

10 minutes before our scheduled meet time, he sent me a message to tell me he was stuck at work. I was anything but surprised. It’s a classic move by him- it’s happened at least 4 times over the past few months. I drive all the way to the destination only to have to turn around and go back home. This time though, I wasn’t just disappointed- I was downright mad. 

He told me he really did need to explain himself and asked me if I was able to meet in the morning instead. He apologised over and over. I told him if he really wanted to see me that bad, he could drive to MY town, call me when he got there and wait to see if I showed up.

He said ok. 
We’ll see.

For the second night in a row, I drove home in tears.
