Wrong beastie
I was having a little conversation with K last night and mentioned that at a meeting I attended of a Society at the LGBT Center here in this city last night, I felt like a bull in a china shop. That just had to do with my sort of overcompensating for my actual shyness and awkwardness whenever I am in a new group of people. Actually, though, the correct statement would be that I felt like a lioness in a china shop.
A friendly sort of lioness, of course! Very friendly. :D:D Bumptious and really just a very large pussycat. One who is confused by the interesting possibility that anyone she loves doesn’t want her to curl up with said object of her affections and purr and snuggle. Somehow, though, in this lioness’s life, she meets up with women with a need for quiet time, a need to regroup in deep privacy and personal space.
Sometimes it’s confusing being a lioness in the china shop of a fragile and special soul. However, being the very large pussycat she really is, she does aim to please those she loves.
So she gets ready to face a day, hoping (she hopes a lot of things, she is an expert hoper) that a special soul is restored within its very special person, and that those she loves and cares about find within them the stuff it takes to live this day, whatever it might bring.
Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
What a lovely closing thought for someone to gain that type serenity. Question: What does one give a 500 lb. lioness in a China Shop ? Answer: Anything she wants

Sometimes we all need our ‘Quiet time’ to gather our thoughts and think them through one by one and gain strength from that cleansing period. Not many people can resist cuddling up with a contented cat for too long though, unless you are one of the unfortunates who happens to be allergic to cat fur, which…I am, but it never stopped me either! *Hugs & Winks& Love* Bren.
