Wishes

I want my hands to have
the power
to heal your every wound

I want my kisses
to turn your tears
into diamonds and pearls

I want all the searching souls
to find solace
to come home to gentle love

You may read my wishes and think them foolish or hopeless or useless. I don’t mind. I know so many people who wish these things; wish for beauty, light, healing, love. And I will go on in the absolute belief that if enough wishes are wished, dreams dreamed, hopes hoped, that the miracles I have known and heard of will continue to occur throughout time.

I hope you aquire these things taht you wish for though it seems to m you already have them. x.

Thanks for your note. I feel for you having to make a choice between the millionaire businessman acused of harrassment, and the democrat who has alienated so many in his party on the way through. They do not seem to be very inspiring choices for mayor on NYC from what I read in the press. Hold onto your dreams, they are the food of the soul.
