Whittery bit

Okay, so once Wanda and I supervised the vacuuming of this place, I went outside to smoke and whitter with the words listed in the previous entry. Please take and use as you wish. Here’s what I did with them.

What form does light take
is it blown in on an ocean breeze
waving leaves into dancing
does it burst and flow
fountain of energy
growing in praise of the universe
continuation of a day’s presence
through candles and electricity
does it filter through shadows
to embrace your soul’s yearning

That was fun. I feel the need to write a certain entry coming to me. It’s been something I’ve meant to write about for quite a while. I had to work through some stuff about the topic, but I think I have arrived at a place of peace about it. So next up will be that topic covered. Once I post this entry, though, I shall have to go visit Dave Dog as first of all I never had a chance to read yesterday’s FWG entry; I haven’t had my official Friday yet, and here it is Saturday supposedly! Harumph! Second of all, the man is a marvelous writer. He is also the official photographer of his local fair, and quite busy with those tasks this week. That, I suppose, is third of all. All the reasons to visit Dave Dog are too many to list. He is my personal pastor, though, as he practices a form of Christianity that makes sense to me; inclusive, and proud, and loving.

Dave Dog is such a dear, dear, dear (can I say it one more time?), dear friend to me. gotta tell ya, I found those words freakin’ HARD!!!! very different from your whitter, which is just the coolest thing, don’t you think? thank you for the prompt. is it really nearly 3 p.m.? Tell I’m not really craving pizza, that it’s just my back aching. heh.

yes, Dave Dog is one of my greatest discoveries on OD. I must go and have a read too – I’ve missed the week of the fair entirely.

Oh, thank you… I’m wending my way through your blogathonning a few days late, for which I apologize. My time has been taken up by entirely too many other things this weekend (which is why I didn’t do the blogathon, though I’d like to next year.0 🙂
