What now?
I am properly clothed. Just thought you needed to know that.
A couple more links: Musings of a Chick because it is someone else who is musing and The Shattered Prayer who is blogging for the same charity for which I am doing this insane thing.
Some people have the most amazing titles for their journals, blogs, diaries and presences in cyberspace.
We talk to Wanda even though we know full well she cannot hear us. K was talking with her friend who will be stopping by later, and said that I should be blogging for deaf cats. I have named the charity already: Hearing Impaired Cats (HIC). Wanda moved into K’s home in February after many years as a street cat. She was not in good shape. She picked a nurse as her human, though, and has taken well to her new role as Queen of Housecats. She has thick hair and no more open wounds (thanks to the effective efforts of her human mommy). She uses the litter box, although she is confused as to why, after she has done so, K cleans out the fruits (so to type) of her efforts. She is one wise old dame of a cat.
hi… i’m just hitting some of you blogathan’ers… had too many things on my plate to do the blogging myself, but i can read here and there. it is nice to know you are properly clothed 🙂

I showered before I started blogging. I’m afraid I’m going to end up eating my way through this Blogathon. Yeesh! It’s good that I didn’t buy chocolate yesterday. 🙂

glad that you were properly clothed, though perhaps you are no longer, methinks. Our cat was deaf too. She came to us after a hurricaine hit (about twenty years ago) and I think she blew in with it. Whether it was that that did her hearing or some bug caught from living outside I don’t know. She was the cutest thing – but frightened of black birds because they could creep up on her withouther hearing them. She never caught anything, which made us lover her gentle soul even more.
