Various sorts of stuff, I guess

Thank you to those of you who have noted that one can still leave an unsigned note here. I’ve put in a help message to the DM and staff about that. However, it’s not very worrisome as by Saturday I expect to want it set to all notes anyway. A silly person having nothing better to do with time than leave unsigned meaningless notes on strangers’ spaces … well, one can only hope that with time, maturity, some sort of wake up call (life is good at giving those to thems that needs ’em) cures the person of such useless behavior.

I am going after work to check out a vacation rental for a friend who is visiting NYC in September. The owners seem like very genuine, nice people, which is always a plus in any business dealings, I find. I doubt I’ll make my usual Tuesday meeting, but as I am greeting and doing 12-step work online these days, I am well connected on a daily basis with AA. And I’ll get back to real people meetings anon. (Hehehe.)

Let’s see what comes outta me this morning.

Ooh! We were noting each other at the same time. I love it when that happens. It’s going to be a little tough, this Blogathon, because I may give the link to Mr. B, who wants to sponsor me. I’m going to try to stay gentle and slightly generic. But he says he knows every bad thing I could possibly write about him because he’s probably thought it himself. I find that so damned sad…

Oh, thank you! You’re on my listie, too. If I weren’t so protective of LizzieLu’s privacy, I would just have blogged as her. But, well, you know. By the way, I’ve asked my daughter for blog entry ideas. Trust me, she’s really good at that kind of thing. I’ll share. The tough part is a) remembering them, or b) writing them down quickly enough before she spits out another one.

Sorry on the last note–don’t want to confuse you I have two journals going here–“theblackhurl” and “ladyofsorrows”. Just cannot stop writing and the ideas just spark out of my brain. I was into both at the same time. Unfortunately, I’m more of the “pirate” at this point in time. Confession, I also have one going that is geared for the cats of the world–“allyeCats” Insane person here!
