To bed with me

Bingo at the LGBT Community Center (gotta get those initials right) was a lot of fun. Sybill Bluncheon is gorgeous and funny in a really warm and inclusive way. The costume of the evening was a gorgeous blue and white pinafore dress with verrry puffed out upper sleeves, liberally decked with gilt decorations around the full skirt over crinolines, a dreidel-shaped pocket for holding chocolate gilt to be handed out to bingo players (I was given a piece :D), and a head piece that … defies description, but absolutely set the whole ensemble off to perfection. The fellow who designs and creates many of Sybill’s costumes, including this one, was there. Sybill’s partner Fabio was also seated on the stage; his main job was to repeat the letter/number thingies, but he held his own in the humor category. We were lucky and got seats right up front, because friends of a friend of my friend had gotten there early and saved us seats. I didn’t win anything … this time. Hehehe.
Overnight I came down with a tummy bug. I will spare you the details; I really wish I could spare myself the details; alas, this cannot be. So I shall be limiting my activity today to bed and bathroom (come on, that’s so not TMI). I hope you all feel well and have a grand day, night, time … wherever you are.
