Thursday
After noon today our computers at the office will be shut down. So I will use the afternoon to pack up the rest of my stuff, throw out loads of stuff, and that will be that. We have been given tomorrow off with pay because we can’t work while they move our stuff. So I have a whole day for Christmas shopping. And some intense processing time.
This
It is admirable
but you don’t have to
do a thing
and I
in the interest of
the best
am sure
certain
that what I need to do
is this
Every day
the certainty grows
where water flowed
sludge lies exposed
always questions
nowhere
the night isn’t dark enough
what I need to do
for you
is this
Living as I did
believing one way
now again
how could it be
there is a dark veil
descending
I explained it
but in birdsong
inscribed and displayed
in bits and pieces
the shadow cast then
led inevitably
to this
Shall I say
hail to a certain deity
in the end
the power of malice
is stronger than
my best
attempt
at virtue and honesty
my words pulled from me
by a tug of a string
did the job
and now
the choice I face
is this
The spiral
where does it lead
to removal
how did I come
to hold hope in my arms
stay away from places
from what you cannot
trust
for though I know
the purity within
without your ability to see it
dry as dust its only fruit
is this
*hugs* i like this…

sometimes i read things here that seem to fit so well with my own life. i am so glad you are here, sharing your feelings this way. ryn: lol – you’re right about mary tyler moore! once i read that i realized thats what looked so familiar to me, too. i think i am really learning through these pictures how to at least attempt to share what i see and my perspective with the rest of the world.

Something tells me I may never be able to catch up here. With a sigh…

There is -nothing- stronger than virtue and honesty. Virtue in itself is pure power, and teamed with something as beuatiful as honesty, the duo (if held fast to) is undefeated. ^_^ *snuggles*
