Thoughts in the den
Economy sublime
Syllables of spartan clarity
the truth in them soothes my tempestuous soul
and when it comes down to it
to the bare bones of the honest truth
these few plain words
because they are real
and the speaker of them true
are all I could ever need
Volumes await my questing spirit
more than I can learn in a lifetime
but see there is listening to be done
a sacred thread
my own verbose insufficient attempts
cannot show what this is
nor should they
for it is new and ancient and beyond
what description might convey
Remember the simple thunder in reality
it was there in that first awareness
has flowed deep through every contact
a holy reverent covenant between two souls
why answered and asked and answered anew
no doubt ever when the nights and their days
command me in diligence and vigilance
to hold and keep safe this vital flame
And the conversations meander
through the weather and the events of our lives
while we overcome oceans in plans
for the doing of things
deferring to her quiet genius for building
I reel in the beauty she gives me
slow progress toward Nirvana
like a walk up a misty mountain path
So to write with a silver pen or one of gold
serves no purpose here
for there are never enough and always too many
words and phrases and speeches
to with justice and humble accuracy tell
the glory of so simple a rightness
as constitutes this eternal bond
so for its honor I must just now keep
a certain form of silence

Goodness, that well looks so… capsular? Or something. Your words are thought-provoking, as usual. Well, it’s a foine Wednesday, is it not? Took Aja to get her spayed this morning at 6 am. Poor little tyke – they get so frightened, but she will not bite or scratch me, even in her terror. I love my little babygirl! >^..^<

And sometimes it’s okay to write small words with big letters using a crazyon. 🙂

Well, I told her she should call when I am in the midst of some good days…sheesh..still, I have that thought, that someone I consider wise..and who still has her daughter..thinks I need a distraction… please tell me what you think about this..maybe I ought to write an entry about this one..
