Red leaves

They touch me
move me in ways I once upon a time
would never have expected

Before
when I was down at the place
where they imported strong stone walls
without a roof
but two hearths
the vines with such strong thorns
grew far down the outer wall
I began to write a world into
one tiny tome

Then a message was waiting here
and it held in it one word
and the word was
constant
and I thought yes
of course
it’s how I like things
how I want to be
and when one meets oneself
in aspects or in glimmers
in understanding and spirit
well
one must be that

Ooh, how delicious. What wonderful imagery. And a nice spot of philosophy there at the end. Lovely. 🙂

Very lovely sweets!! Thank you for sharing this with us!!! Hugs sweets!!!!

Such a gentle poem, deeply thoughtful. Constancy is essential for tranquility. Sweet dreams my lovely friend. Love…

Long note in the other place. My thanks for being you. You are so special to me. Now cuddle into that slumber place later, knowing I hold you tenderly in my heart smiles.

Pretty poem!
