Prayers please

Don’t worry about my vacation as I will be having that no matter what. I just want health. I want it for Folláin more than I want anything. I want it for Scarab, who is having some significant setbacks; and for Dragon … also laid low by physical problems. I sit here blessed thus far with a reasonably healthy winter; and bingo tonight (!) … and very grateful for it. But my world would be made even brighter if my dear friends could be feeling better too. (None of the above are diary names. They are my nicknames for people I love and care about. Remember that bit about anonymity? Okie dokie.)

When I write of a rock
oh do you know how true it is
as whether my sea is raging
in the cruel mad winds of change
or calm in the sweet zephyrs of acceptance
you are steadfast in the midst of all

My home and my refuge
lie not in some structure built by human design
but in the certainty of our connection
for in it I pass all my hours
