Monitors

Okay, go see this one: Clothed [in joy]. You have got to admire those who are both blogathoning and managing to monitor other blogathoners. I doubt if I could do that. Eventually I need to find out which blog is my monitor’s one, as since I shall be getting cyber coffee from her, the least I can do is maybe get some folks to check out her efforts!

I keep editing, mostly because I mean to have a whole chapter for Blogathon 2006, in case anyone wants a look into the ramblings and ravings of one married lesbian through 24 hours all at one time. Might be a bit much for anyone to take, of course, but also it will be a record for me. Not being the most organized sort of person, it is mighty handy to have the chapter making tool. It is one of the things that makes my “Plus” membership in this community worth the $12 I shell out approximately every six months. There are many others, but that’s one. Of course, I have to remember to scroll down and do the dropdown thingie to place each entry in its chapter. Since I forget to do this about half the time, I then pop back in a little while later to fix it. I have already, of course, set this entry to go into its chapter.

It’s neat bopping around Open Diary. Although, as with any community of human beans, there are all sorts of people writing here, I have found kindred souls to accompany me on my journey through this place, from deeply significant personal connections to acquaintances all around the world and everything in between. I highly recommend it as a journaling space. There are all sorts of ways to make oneself comfortable and safe; all different levels of privacy and such.

I ate at Friendly’s yesterday! Yum. The last time I ate at Friendly’s was when I visited North Star last fall. There is just nothing like it.

*lol* I’m glad you’re cruising the other ‘thon sites–it’s such a great way to meet new people! I should have left my link before, d’oh: I’m at http://kairotic.livejournal.com -kathy, monitor, cheerleader, and bringer of caffeinated beverages

I’ll have to check out kathy ^^. 🙂 My monitor has been by to visit and is also blogging and monitoring at the same time. I think I’ll post a link to her place. She’s writing harry potter fan fiction with another blogger. this whole thing is so interesting. I’m starting to lose track of number of posts, etc. 🙂

Yuppers! And next time you visit, we’ll hit Friendly’s one more time! Congrats on the blogathon, lady. Love, ::North*Star::

🙂 yes OD is a wonderful way to meet people, discover new things, places and open your mind to new ways of doing things and thinking. This week I was able to tell my hubby what crocs were as we saw them in the shop, because Dave Dog did such a big entry about buying them last year. 🙂 I even checked out the link last year to find out what they were. 🙂 Perhaps I don’t have enough to do in life?or perhaps I am just tooooo curious?
