Those eyes, my love, have seen many many things.
Those eyes have never stopped loving anyone. They have moved on; I have moved on; but let me tell you now that when I say my love is eternal I mean it.
Those eyes are going to gaze into yours one day, and you will be astonished at the love pouring out of them and into you.
Those eyes will be filled with joy at the mere sight of you.
And mon amie: I have no preconceived expectations because I don’t yet know what will happen when we meet. So disappointment cannot cast a shadow over those eyes. My only expectation is that I am going to feel warm and filled with love for you.
And that is realistic; I already do.
And I want you to feel that coming through my eyes.
