Last night, this morning
I haven’t whittered this morning. I was just looking back over things. I need to do some reflecting on an area of my life; not a time, but an area that needs work. In me. Does it require acceptance or courage to change? Well I know who to ask for the wisdom to know the difference, don’t I? I’m glad it’s Sunday morning. Well, it’s laundry day of course … but it’s also a fine day for some meditation. It seems as though that’s how things work in me: resolve one area, another pops its head up and waves, saying “If you’ve got some attention to spare, I could use it!” Well, here’s from last night.
Seeing what was and what is
Odd
how someone unknown
evokes volumes
probably more than she ever needed
or wanted to know
doing me more good than her
but then
there is a reason beyond me
that all the information pours forth
for I wrote it
read it
amended it and saw
more than I ever did before
Mostly
what is simply is
a deep bond
a cord or thread
there is nothing I believe
no force that can sever it
for despite pain and reason
distance and circumstance
incredible improbability
it lives and breathes
for us and in us
and here at the end of the day
it is a destiny to hold dear
I have no answers. Aside from that profound statement, how are you today?

ryn: Hm…no I don’t think I mean Lysandra. I’m not sure what her name is…but I know her username was Lipgloss Revolution. I think her diary title was “d 0 r k*”. I’m pretty confused, too!

courage means everything to me. chalandra (open diary) changed my life when she said that simple word to me: courage. it made me look at my marriage and face it for what it was. i have a little pillow that hangs on my doorknob and it has courage stiched across the face of it. *big smiles*

I keep telling myself that the fact that women poets do the laundry brings a very special quality to our work that all those centuries of guy poets will learn to envy in our lifetime. Here you are proving my point.

Laundry? Will you dry my sheets for me until I get my dryer fixed? With a hopeful smile…

“…resolve one area, another pops its head up and waves, saying ‘If you’ve got some attention to spare, I could use it!'” *amused* …as the truth is always amusing in one way or another. ^_^ *warm hugs*
